Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Front Office Team Member to join our team at River Rock Casino Resort. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing warm welcomes, efficient check-in processes, and exceptional service throughout their stay.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a positive attitude and high level of professionalism even under pressure. Additionally, they will have a passion for delivering Great Experiences and Memories to our guests, embodying our company values of Integrity, Team Engagement, Drive to Succeed, Service Excellence, and Citizenship.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and efficiently process check-ins, ensuring seamless transitions into their stay
- Provide personalized assistance, answering questions and resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Coordinate room reservations, modifications, and cancellations, ensuring accurate and timely processing
- Process payments, manage foreign currency exchange, and maintain cash handling procedures
- Liaise with operational departments to ensure effective communication and cooperation
- Develop strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements
Requirements
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Guest service experience, preferably in a hospitality or gaming environment
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
- Computer literacy in MS Office; Opera an asset
- Serving It Right Certification or the ability to achieve it
- Passion for delivering Great Experiences and Memories to our guests
- Commitment to ongoing learning and development, enhancing knowledge and skills to drive personal and professional growth
