About the Role

  • As a Training and Development Manager with TAG HR, you will play a key role in assessing and designing training programs to meet staff needs.
  • You will deliver onboarding and group/individual training while supporting leadership in developing training skills.
  • Track training outcomes, evaluate performance, provide feedback, and report skills gaps or performance issues.
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with training program budgets.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate administrative and HR documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, policies, procedures, collective agreements, and health and safety standards.
  • Attend meetings and provide training, orientations, and supervision for students, volunteers, and work placements.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on training and development.
  • Experience designing and delivering adult training/education programs.
  • Formal education in learning theories and training methodologies.
  • Strong proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms (preferred).
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications.
