About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planner to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). As a key member of our wealth management team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning and advisory services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement personalized financial plans for clients, taking into account their unique goals, risk tolerance, and financial situations.
  • Conduct thorough financial analyses and provide expert advice on investment strategies, retirement planning, and wealth management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and guidance to help them achieve their financial objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in wealth management, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service and expertise.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve business objectives and contribute to the growth and success of our wealth management division.
Requirements
  • University degree in a related field, such as finance, economics, or business.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, or a related field.
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) certification required.
  • IIROC license preferred (required within first 90 days in role).
  • Complete Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH) within first 90 days in role.
  • Complete Wealth Management Essentials (WME) within first 30 months in role.
  • Achieve Certified Financial Planner designation within first year in role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
