About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planner to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). As a key member of our Wealth Management team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning and advice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Identify and build long-term relationships with clients, providing personalized financial planning and advice to help them achieve their financial goals.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Conduct thorough financial planning and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and improvement, and develop strategies to achieve client objectives.
  • Business Development: Develop and implement business plans to drive growth and revenue, and identify new business opportunities to expand our client base.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the Wealth Management team to share knowledge, best practices, and ideas to drive business success.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education: University degree and/or 3-5 years of industry experience.
  • Certifications: Canadian Securities Course (CSC) required, IIROC license preferred, and IQPF licensing required prior to start date (for Quebec only).
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively and independently, and deep understanding of the financial services industry.
