Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planner to join our team at TD Wealth. As a Financial Planner, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning and advice to our clients, helping them achieve their financial goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough financial needs analyses to identify clients' goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement personalized financial plans to help clients achieve their goals
  • Provide ongoing financial planning and advice to clients, including investment and retirement planning
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and support
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to provide expert advice to clients
Requirements
  • University degree and/or 3-5 years of industry experience
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) required
  • IIROC license preferred (required within first 90 days in role)
  • Complete Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH) within first 90 days in role
  • IQPF licensing required prior to start date (for Quebec only)
  • Complete Wealth Management Essentials (WME) within first 30 months in role
  • Achieve Certified Financial Planner designation within first 3 years in role
  • Deep understanding of the industry, competitive landscape, and economic market issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively and independently
