VP Automotive Service Center is a leading provider of automotive service expertise.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. As the first point of contact for our clients, this role requires strong customer service skills and good technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Interaction
    • Greet and engage walk-in guests promptly, personally, and with the goal of opening the conversation and ensuring they feel welcome.
    • Communicate with clients to determine the nature of the mechanical problems and time required.
    • Provide pricing for common jobs.
  • Communication and Coordination
    • Escalate calls to appropriate team members.
    • Communicate with technicians to ensure accuracy of client's vehicle problems.
    • Follow up on the progress of each repair order during the day, contact customers by telephone regarding changes in the estimate or time promised.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Handle telephone inquiries regarding work in process and new quotes.
    • Review work performed with customers and take payments.
    • Generate invoices.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Assist the service manager as necessary.
    • Maintain a clean work environment and organized desk.
  • Adherence to Company Policies
    • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Bilingual: speak fluent English & Punjabi (or Hindi).
  • Some knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in the maintenance and repair of vehicles.
  • Can work well with computers and data entry.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • At least 2 years of customer service experience preferred but not necessary.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Effectively handle multiple priorities and organize workload.
  • Strong work ethic and team player.
  • Flexible to work retail business hours including Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Professional, dependable, reliable, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Work Environment

  • Full-time, Permanent position.
  • $36, $50,550.00 per year salary.
  • Flexible schedule.
  • 10 hour shift, 12 hour shift, 8 hour shift, Evening shift, Monday to Friday, Night shift, Weekends as needed.

Experience

  • Customer Service: 1 year (preferred).
