VP Automotive Service Center is a leading provider of automotive service expertise.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. As the first point of contact for our clients, this role requires strong customer service skills and good technical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Interaction
- Greet and engage walk-in guests promptly, personally, and with the goal of opening the conversation and ensuring they feel welcome.
- Communicate with clients to determine the nature of the mechanical problems and time required.
- Provide pricing for common jobs.
- Communication and Coordination
- Escalate calls to appropriate team members.
- Communicate with technicians to ensure accuracy of client's vehicle problems.
- Follow up on the progress of each repair order during the day, contact customers by telephone regarding changes in the estimate or time promised.
- Administrative Tasks
- Handle telephone inquiries regarding work in process and new quotes.
- Review work performed with customers and take payments.
- Generate invoices.
- Team Collaboration
- Assist the service manager as necessary.
- Maintain a clean work environment and organized desk.
- Adherence to Company Policies
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Requirements
- Bilingual: speak fluent English & Punjabi (or Hindi).
- Some knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in the maintenance and repair of vehicles.
- Can work well with computers and data entry.
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- At least 2 years of customer service experience preferred but not necessary.
- Superior customer service skills.
- Effectively handle multiple priorities and organize workload.
- Strong work ethic and team player.
- Flexible to work retail business hours including Saturdays and Sundays.
- Professional, dependable, reliable, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Work Environment
- Full-time, Permanent position.
- $36, $50,550.00 per year salary.
- Flexible schedule.
- 10 hour shift, 12 hour shift, 8 hour shift, Evening shift, Monday to Friday, Night shift, Weekends as needed.
Experience
- Customer Service: 1 year (preferred).
