Business Resilience Manager

At EightSix Network, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Business Resilience to join our Airport Operations Department. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our emergency planning team and play a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our airport operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement emergency plans and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and business partners to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Lead emergency planning initiatives and projects, including legislated major training/simulation exercises.
- Ensure legislated document requirements are met, including reviewing and improving upon YVR Operations Directives and Plans.
- Support corporate-wide activities related to the implementation of the Authority's Business Continuity Planning framework.
- Provide leadership and direction to a dedicated team of employees, including monitoring work efforts and performance, hiring, coaching, motivating, and supporting developmental activities.
- Five years' recent, related progressive experience in a leadership role within an operational environment (emergency planning), supplemented by a bachelor's degree in public safety, public administration, business continuity, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Extensive knowledge of multi-agency, full-scale emergency exercise and simulation planning and delivery; disaster planning and response.
- Proven sound judgment and decision-making skills to manage operational and emergency situations.
- Demonstrated ability to assess risks and threats according to defined protocols and procedures.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong project management and communication skills, including meeting facilitation and public speaking.
We offer a competitive salary range of $, to $, per annum, based on a 37.5-hour work week, and an annual bonus target at 15% of your annual salary.
