We are seeking a full-time tenure stream Associate or Full Professor position in Forensic Psychology at the University of Toronto Mississauga's Forensic Science Program within the Department of Anthropology.
About the RoleThis is an exceptional opportunity to join our esteemed department and contribute to the growth and development of our programs. As a member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses, conducting innovative research, and mentoring students.
As a successful candidate, you will possess a PhD degree in Psychology or a PsyD (or equivalent) from an accredited program with a demonstrated record of excellence in both research and teaching. Your expertise in forensic clinical evaluation, risk assessment, psychological interventions, socio-psychological determinants of crime, and related areas will be valuable assets to our department.

Key Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate courses in Forensic Psychology, including lecture preparation and delivery, curriculum development, and online material/lectures.
- Conduct innovative research in Forensic Psychology, publish in top-ranked journals, and secure external funding.
- Mentor students in research projects, provide academic advising, and support student development.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments and campuses to enhance our programs and services.
- PhD degree in Psychology or a PsyD (or equivalent) from an accredited program.
- Demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching, including publications, presentations, and awards.
- Experience working in a forensic clinical setting or as an independent forensic consultant, with a proven record of casework, court testimony, or similar practices.
- Strong teaching expertise, including curriculum development, lecture preparation, and online material/lectures.
The salary for this position will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, estimated around $120,000-$180,000 per year, depending on factors such as education, experience, and location.
