About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our cloud-native relational database. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable distributed systems.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new features for our database service
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software code, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the quality of code
  • Work closely with QA engineers to identify and resolve defects
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns
  • Experience with distributed systems and service-oriented architectures
  • Proficiency in Java 8 and AWS technologies (EC2, EBS, VPC, Route53, DynamoDB)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
