Salary Information

The base salary for this position ranges from $89,700/year up to $149,800/year. We offer a total compensation package that includes equity, sign-on payments, and other benefits in addition to medical, financial, and/or other benefits.

Job Description

">

We are seeking highly skilled and passionate individuals who can conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market. As a software development engineer at Amazon, you will have the opportunity to work on large distributed computing environments, designing and building innovative technologies that lead fundamental changes in the industry.

">

You will collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary team members to create solutions that run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed. Your expertise in designing and coding the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems will be essential in delivering high-quality software in an agile environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

">

To qualify for this role, applicants should have earned a Bachelor's degree or higher between October 2023 and Fall 2025 and/or graduated within the last 24 months. You should also have programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.

">

Pursuing a Master's or PhD Degree with focus on Systems / Information Theory, Databases, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related is also an asset. Strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis is required.
