Job OverviewThe Head of People at Hiive will be an integral member of our operations team, responsible for leading our people and culture organization. This role entails being on the front lines of scaling a high-performing team, equipping them with essential tools to thrive, and serving as an advisor to our senior leadership team.

Responsibilities- Develop and lead the P&C organization, managing and mentoring P&C team members.
- Serve as Hiive's employee relations expert, creating policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
- Design and maintain cutting-edge performance management, engagement, and feedback systems.
- Oversee the company's compensation and benefits strategy to attract, reward, and retain top talent.
- Lead the company's recruiting and talent development strategy.
- Drive employee experience initiatives, continuous learning, and leadership development.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Hiive's Leadership team on all employee relations and engagement matters.
- Promote Hiive's culture, mission, and values as a key ambassador and communicator.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on employer branding and events.
- Analyze data to optimize and enhance P&C decisions and processes.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in HR/People & Culture, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proficiency in recruiting, employer branding, talent development, performance management, compensation planning, total rewards, employee engagement, and HR compliance.
- A proven track record of taking a collaborative, growth-oriented, and data-driven approach to solving people-related problems.
- Maturity and confidence to serve as an advisor to senior executives and advocate for positions.
- Exceptional people skills and leadership abilities to motivate and inspire teams to peak performance.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field.
- Experience working in a quickly growing startup company, preferably in venture capital, financial services, capital markets, or enterprise B2B.
The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
