Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class 1a preferred)
  • Minimum 1 Year of Commercial Driving Experience or CDL School Certificate
  • Ability to Meet Safety Standards

Key Responsibilities

As a Roll-Off Driver, you will be responsible for:

  • Operating a Variety of Vehicle Types with automatic and standard transmission, collecting solid waste, yard waste, and recyclables on a collection route.
  • Completing Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Safety Inspections and reports, daily truck reports, route sheets, and other documentation as requested by your supervisor.
  • Operating Equipment Safely and following all safety standards, equipment checks, and precautions.
  • Maintaining Accurate Records of services performed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

You will need:

  • Knowledge of Truck Components and Maintenance Requirements
  • Ability to Control Equipment Operations and maneuver the truck into and out of tight spaces.
  • Ability to Exert Muscle Force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 50 pounds repetitively.
