Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Insurance Service Specialist to join our Commercial Team in Vancouver.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and maintain accurate documentation, including correspondence, cover notes, and certificates of insurance.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding client accounts receivables in conjunction with the Client Service Manager.
- Assist with underwriting submissions, client proposals, and claims history research.
- Provide excellent client service, responding to inquiries, and resolving discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain and update policy files, electronic records, and internal management systems.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of commercial insurance experience or relevant insurance education.
- Level 2 license (insurance designation, CIP or CAIB preferred) or working towards.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
