Financial Services Specialist - Life
This role is part of our Financial Services department, which provides comprehensive support to Business sales representatives in placing Life and Accident & Sickness (A&S) business.
A Day in the Life
- Partner with Account Executives to identify opportunities for conversion and re-write by reviewing current Business Opportunities in Briefs (BOBs).
- Facilitate weekly training sessions for new Financial Services Account Executives on insurance products and company processes.
- Manage and respond to service requests from Account Executives and clients within established timeframes and according to company policies.
- Liaise with the Compliance team on updates to industry requirements from the Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association (CLHIA), Insurance Councils, and insurance companies.
- Participate in annual/bi-annual client review calls.
- Initiate assignments and changes for Financial Services Account Executives with contracts and transfers of business via Agents of Record.
- Aid in BOB clean-up and support special projects.
The Value You Bring
- Minimum 2 years of customer support and sales experience required.
- Life & A&S License required.
- Prior experience in the insurance industry is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential.
Compensation and Benefits
As a Full-Time employee working 37.5 hours per week, you can expect a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $69,000 per year. Additionally, you will be eligible for our comprehensive benefits package, including 3 weeks' vacation, 14 wellness days, company-matched investment and savings programs, and 100% employer-paid group benefits.
