About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at D Spot Dessert Cafe. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dessert cafe, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food and beverage offerings meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our dessert preparation team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Train and develop the skills of our team members, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that all food and beverages meet our high standards of quality and safety, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that our products meet our standards.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that all customer interactions are positive and memorable.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Manage the day-to-day operations of the dessert cafe, including inventory management, stock control, and cash handling.
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • Knowledge of food safety and quality control procedures.
    • Ability to train and develop the skills of team members.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The role will also require standing for extended periods and working under pressure to meet deadlines.
