Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway Sandwiches. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our food meets the highest quality standards, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy kitchen.
  • Supervise Kitchen Staff: Train, supervise, and coordinate the activities of our kitchen staff to ensure that food is prepared and served to our high standards.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that our food meets our quality standards.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 45 hours per week.
Work Environment:

Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment where you will be required to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You will be standing for extended periods and will be required to lift and move heavy objects.

  • Interpersonal Skills: You will be working with a team of staff and must be able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively.
