Business Development Associate

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented New Business Associate to join our team at Foresters Financial. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and verifying individual life insurance applications, evaluating new and renewal applications, and entering/editing application information with speed and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities- Application Review and Verification
Review and verify individual life insurance applications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Application Evaluation
Evaluate new and renewal applications to determine level of coverage and premiums using pre-set guidelines and other referencing materials.
- Data Entry and Management
Enter/edit application information with speed and accuracy, and scan and file applications into internal software systems.
- Communication and Customer Service
Make outbound calls and process new insurance applications in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy of data entry and communication of information to facilitate a smooth transition for the client.
- Quality Control and Compliance
Re-verify insurance eligibility and benefits for all clients on a standard schedule, and perform quality checks to ensure compliance with government regulations related to licensing, errors and omissions, and money laundering.
- Broker Communication and Premium Adjustments
Communicate with brokers for outstanding requirements and other coverage options, and adjust premiums or coverage according to the underwriting guidelines as requested.
- Payment Processing and Banking
Process payments and balance for banking, and complete the verification process on cases as well as the NBA's when required.
- Additional Responsibilities
Contact clients to obtain credit card information and authorizations, and perform other duties as required by the business.
- Customer Service Skills
Excellent customer service skills are required to provide a high level of service to clients.
- Data Entry Skills
Excellent data entry skills are necessary to accurately and efficiently enter and edit application information.
- Microsoft Office Proficiency
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required to perform tasks efficiently.
- Teamwork and Multitasking
Able to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment and work effectively as part of a team.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills
Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills are necessary to evaluate and resolve complex issues.
- Organization and Efficiency
Highly organized and efficient, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
