About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at Buca Vaughan. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of our dishes, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in every meal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation and cooking of menu items, including demonstration of new techniques and equipment to cooking staff
  • Create new recipes and menus to enhance our culinary offerings
  • Train and supervise cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure high standards of quality and service
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain efficient operations
  • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with attention to detail
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and grow with our team
