Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager Intern to join our team at Maple Leaf Foods. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing compelling executive and employee compensation strategies. This role will involve working closely with our Director of Total Rewards to develop and execute compensation programs that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement executive and employee compensation strategies that align with business objectives
  • Design and administer compensation programs, including executive and employee incentive plans
  • Provide analytical support and counsel on compensation-related matters, including cost analyses and data-driven recommendations
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IS to administer and maintain accurate compensation data in HRIS and/or other tools/applications
  • Oversee and audit the ongoing execution of compensation and recognition programs according to company policies and statutory compliance
  • Develop and track key performance indicators tailored to the compensation and total rewards arena
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and the Microsoft Office suite
  • Familiarity with SAP/SUCCESSFACTORS is an asset
