About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team at OBR Catering Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating exquisite pastry dishes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and execute menus that showcase your creativity and expertise in pastry arts.

Food Preparation and Presentation

Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.

Client Consultation and Communication

Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and provide expert advice on menu options and presentation.

Inventory Management and Supply Chain

Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and optimal inventory levels.

Team Leadership and Training

Lead and train junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.

Work Environment

As a member of our team, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and quality cuisine.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.

Work Setting

Catering firm with a focus on delivering high-quality events and services.

Language

English is the primary language of communication in this role.
