About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Fairstone. As a key member of our Credit Risk Management function, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing risk strategies to support our overall risk appetite framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of our Credit Risk Management functions and design risk strategies to mitigate potential risks.
  • Liaise with key bank departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration during project activities.
  • Produce timely and accurate reporting to inform business decisions and drive portfolio performance.
  • Investigate and propose new solutions to improve portfolio performance and reduce risk.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in Credit Risk or a related field, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Computer Science.
  • Intermediate skills using SAS or SQL to analyze large datasets.
  • Knowledge of credit risk management principles and the ability to assess, measure, and monitor risk.
