We are seeking a highly skilled Benefits Coordinator to join our team at First Student Canada-Transco. As a Benefits Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our employees by administering and maintaining our health and welfare plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide timely resolutions to benefits-related issues.
- Assist with the administration of state and company disability plans, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Perform routine audits and reviews of benefits plans to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Identify and resolve eligibility and pricing setup issues, and recommend solutions to improve benefits administration.
- Review collective bargaining agreements and ensure benefits setup is correct and compliant.
- Provide specialized data requests and analysis to support benefits administration.
- Communicate effectively with employees, management, and external stakeholders to resolve benefits-related issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in employee benefits functions, with a strong understanding of retirement plan administration and compliance.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a focus on quality control and data accuracy.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, including pivot tables and V lookups.
