We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for preparing, dispensing, and administering radiopharmaceuticals to perform diagnostic procedures and therapies. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the quality and safety of our patients.
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will work closely with our team to provide high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for adapting procedures, performing complex computer manipulations, and analyzing data to ensure accurate diagnoses. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in providing exceptional patient care.
About YouWe are looking for a candidate who is a graduate of an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology and holds Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification and Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure. You must also have Basic Life Support Certification and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System. Additionally, you must be able to adapt to changes and unusual circumstances, establish a rapport with patients, and demonstrate courtesy, kindness, understanding, and professionalism at all times.

HoursThis is a permanent full-time position with 75 hours biweekly. Shift work is required, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
Compensation and IncentivesThe successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of $39.96. In addition, they may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
