Nuclear Medicine Technologist

The Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for preparing, dispensing, and administering radiopharmaceuticals to perform diagnostic procedures and therapies. You will work closely with our team to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients.
About YouWe are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is a graduate of an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology. You must hold Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification and Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure. You should also have Basic Life Support Certification and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System training.

You should be committed to practicing all aspects of Nuclear Medicine and be willing to maintain and expand your skills.
HoursThis is a permanent full-time position with 75 hours biweekly. Shift work is required, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
Compensation and IncentivesThe successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of $34.24 - $39.96. You may also be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
