Key Responsibilities
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business decisions.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring timely and efficient service.
Leadership and Support
  • Lead a team of 3-4 people, providing guidance, mentorship, and coaching to ensure their success.
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for persons with disabilities, newcomers, refugees, youth, veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities, promoting diversity and inclusion.
