We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team at Grand Banker Bar & Grill. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to take their career to the next level.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment. They will also be expected to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Responsibilities- Meal Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet customer expectations.
- Maintaining Inventory: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies and equipment, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that orders are placed as necessary.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure that the kitchen and work areas are clean and organized, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to achieve smooth service and high-quality food output.
- Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required; however, relevant experience is highly valued.
- Experience: Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment, preferably in a similar role.
- Skills and Qualifications: Excellent culinary skills, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Gratuities: Competitive gratuities based on performance and customer feedback.
- Work Term: Permanent position with opportunities for advancement.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 40 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
$40,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
