Trestle Creek Golf Resort doesn't disappoint We are looking for a passionate and experienced Chef to lead our kitchen team to ensure the highest quality service and experience for customers. The Chef helps keep the kitchen organized and running efficiently. They ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and following food storage procedures, implementing systems for ordering and stock rotation.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Train and maximize productivity for all kitchen staff.
- Staff scheduling
- Work closely with the Food and Beverage Manager to exceed restaurant goals and vision.
- Work closely with the Food and Beverage Manager in organization of events.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and food safe guidelines.
- Setting up the kitchen and Track Shack workstations with cooking utensils and equipment, such as knives, pans and kitchen scales as directed.
- Prepare food for service such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces.
- Provide food delivery including portion control, quality plating procedures and time management.
- Modify recipes to meet customers' needs and requests such as reduce salt, remove dairy.
- Follow proper procedures regarding allergens.
- Inform Server-Bartender employees about daily, weekly or event specials.
- Provide assistance to fellow coworkers.
- Assist in cleaning and restocking of dishes and glassware.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Dispose of or properly store leftovers.
- Ensure compliance with nutrition and sanitation regulations.
- Monitor restaurant and Track Shak food stock.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards.
- Wash dishes.
- Assist fellow co-workers.
- Maintain a clean organized kitchen,
- Ordering and managing inventory.
- Communicate any equipment deficiencies to Food and Beverage Manager.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers.
- Provide assistance with end of day tasks, such as emptying garbage.
- Monitor inventory.

**Required Skills**:

- 3 to 5 years minimum experience as a Chef.
- A positive, energetic outlook and a passion for food and beverage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in using different cooking tools, equipment, and utensils.
- Experience cooking for large groups (40 - 200 people).

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
