Key Responsibilities- Provide accurate and timely dispensing of medications to patients, adhering to NAPRA Model Standards of Practice and OCP standards of practice.
- Implement clinical activities under the direction of the Designated Manager, ensuring evidence-based practices and a patient-focused environment.
- Respond efficiently to referrals from CATC clinics and community partners, providing appropriate healthcare information to patients.
- Participate in clinical and community initiatives to provide the best possible patient care and position CATC as a first-class provider of addiction treatment services.
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in the preparation of all patient prescriptions, maintaining good relationships with CATC physicians and clinic staff.
- Provide annual flu injections and maintain First Aid and CPR training up to date.
- Part A Pharmacist Registration with the OCP.
- CAMH Opioid Dependence Treatment Certification is required.
- Experience using Kroll Pharmacy Software is preferred.
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certification is required and must be maintained throughout the employment.
- Injection Certification is required.
- Demonstrated patient-centered pharmacy practice skills, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm and poised in urgent situations.
