Job Title: Assistant to the Care Manager

Job Summary:

The Assistant to the Care Manager will provide administrative support to the Health Services Manager, ensuring the smooth operation of our care services. This role will involve planning and controlling activities related to resident care and well-being, ensuring compliance with professional standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Health Services Manager to supervise and mobilize care staff
  • Plan human resources and ensure timely replacement of care staff as needed
  • Participate in the staffing process, ensuring the reception, training, and integration of new employees
  • Establish and maintain protocols for prevention and care of residents
  • Ensure data accuracy in work routes and collaborate on staffing/billing analysis
  • Act as an intermediary for external stakeholders and take charge of communication in the absence of the Health Services Manager
  • Take appropriate measures in emergency situations and contribute to clinical assessment and monitoring of residents
Requirements:
  • Degree in nursing (DEC) or professional studies diploma (DEP) in healthcare assistance or nursing
  • Experience in personnel management
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook software
  • Member of the OIIAQ
  • Up-to-date general first aid CPR/AED training
