About Our Practice

Our collaborative mental health practice is dedicated to providing individual therapy, couples therapy, and family treatment in a safe and supportive environment. We are committed to delivering evidence-based, trauma-informed care that addresses the unique needs of each client.

Job Responsibilities

  • Providing treatment for a variety of mental health issues using evidence-based, trauma-informed practice
  • Creating and maintaining patient records and required reports in a timely manner
  • Working collaboratively with a clinical supervisor to develop case formulations, identify treatment goals, and support client progress in meeting these goals

Requirements

  • Doctoral Degree or Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology or related field in Psychology
  • Registered or Candidate Register Psychologist with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiner's in Psychology
  • Experience and competency working with children, adolescents, or adults, individually, couples, or families
  • Ability to work independently, yet collaboratively
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and inter-professional teamwork skills
  • Current professional liability insurance
  • Experience with operating a computer and some ability with MS office
