We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Psychologist to join our team at Seagram & Associates and Landing Strong. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families.

About Us

Seagram & Associates and Landing Strong is a collaborative mental health counselling practice dedicated to providing evidence-based, trauma-informed treatment to individuals and families. Our team is comprised of experienced mental health professionals who are passionate about creating a safe and supportive environment for our clients.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Registered Psychologist who is experienced in working with children, adolescents, or adults, individually, couples, or families. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal, communication, and inter-professional teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities
  • Provide treatment of a variety of mental health issues using evidence-based, trauma-informed practice.
  • Create and maintain patient records and required reports in a timely manner.
  • Work collaboratively with a clinical supervisor to develop case formulations, identify treatment goals, and support client progress in meeting these goals.
Requirements
  • Doctoral Degree or Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology or related field in Psychology.
  • Registered or Candidate Register Psychologist with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiner's in Psychology.
  • Experience and competency working with children, adolescents, or adults, individually, couples, or families.
  • Ability to work independently, yet collaboratively.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and inter-professional teamwork skills.
  • Current professional liability insurance.
  • Experienced with operating a computer and some ability with MS office.
