We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Dolcetto Risto. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for the overall operation and performance of the kitchen staff on their respective shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement kitchen operations strategies to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training and development, to maintain a high level of food quality and presentation.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary working environment, ensuring all kitchen staff are properly trained and follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring consistency and excellence in all dishes.
  • Ensure kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently, maintaining adequate inventory levels and controlling food costs.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a passion for food and cooking, and a commitment to delivering high-quality experiences for our customers.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a college certificate or diploma program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management, or related discipline.
  • Food handlers certificate.
  • Minimum three (3) years of work experience as a restaurant cook in a high-volume restaurant.
  • Minimum six (6) months of work experience in a supervisory role in a high-volume restaurant establishment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards, as well as cost control for food cost and labor cost.
  • Able to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility.
  • Mature, patient, professional, and growth-minded, with a passion for food and cooking.
