Building Maintenance Supervisor

SQ Construction is seeking a highly skilled Building Maintenance Supervisor - Senior Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities. This role requires a strong background in building maintenance, supervision, and leadership.
About the RoleThis position involves coordinating with our maintenance team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects, scheduling activities, and recruiting and hiring workers as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Maintenance Activities: Oversee the maintenance team to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Project Management: Coordinate with the team to plan and execute maintenance projects, including setting up equipment, requisitioning materials, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and train new staff members as needed, while also leading and instructing existing team members.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare production reports and communicate effectively with the team and management to ensure seamless operations.
- Education: A certificate or diploma in a related trade, such as carpentry or electrical work.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
- Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to lead and motivate a team, and a strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
The Building Maintenance Supervisor - Senior Facilities Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. They must be able to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a retirement savings plan.
