Building Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at SQ Construction. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our buildings and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to ensure that buildings and facilities are well-maintained and meet safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and facilities to identify potential maintenance issues and develop plans to address them.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
- Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce maintenance costs and improve efficiency.
- 2 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role.
- Proven track record of successfully supervising and coordinating maintenance staff.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various locations.
English is the primary language of communication in this role.
Work Schedule:30-40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
