Building Maintenance Supervisor

San Jose Construction and Maintenance 1214 is seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment to identify and address potential issues.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of maintenance activities with other business operations.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role.
- Proven ability to supervise and coordinate the work of others.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
