Commercial Insurance Account Specialist

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Insurance Account Specialist to join our team at CMB Insurance Brokers. As an integral part of our Sales Team, you will be responsible for driving the growth and renewal of assigned customer accounts.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide account growth, renewal, and servicing to contribute to the continued success of the brokerage.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with stakeholders and follow all company procedures, forms, checklists, and workbooks.
- Pre-renewal activities, customer updates, marketing, and renewal presentations must be completed on time.
- Cross-sell or up-sell other products and services offered by the brokerage to new and existing clients.
- Perform annual coverage review checklists as per the company's renewal system.
**Customer Service:
- Familiarize yourself with and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Respond to client inquiries and requests in a timely manner.
- Assist the Sales Team in collecting deposit premiums, premiums, finance deposits, and contracts on behalf of the brokerage.
- Maintain, update, and organize data in electronic and paper filing systems.
- Prepare customer account reconciliations for accounting inquiries.
**Team Support:
- Report potential lost accounts and bad debts to the Senior Account Manager.
- Take steps to prevent Errors & Omissions and report any potential E&O.
- Mentor and provide training assistance to Customer Service Representatives.
**Office Support:
- Attend and participate in meetings, staff gatherings, and company functions.
- Adeptly utilize Agency Manager, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and ISNet World programs.
- Conduct other related duties as assigned.
**Requirements:
- Level 2 Licensed Insurance Agent.
- Member of or currently working towards the C.I.P. or CAIB designation.
- 4-7 years of experience in commercial account management.
- 3-4 years of experience in a team environment in a customer service position.
- Experience with Agency Manager, Microsoft Office Suite, or comparable computer systems.
**Salary Range:
$80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
