Job Description

University Health Network (UHN) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Planning to lead the strategic facilities planning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing short- and long-term plans for capital redevelopment within UHN, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage short- and long-term plans for capital redevelopment
  • Participate in FM-PRO strategic planning to develop strategies and initiate planning for capital programs and space management
  • Consult with Program Executive to direct planning and prioritization of capital, space, and renovation projects
  • Review and monitor capital and renovation project planning to ensure alignment and effective transition to the Project Redevelopment team
  • Ensure all projects have a clear scope, schedule, and budget
  • Develop and monitor short- and long-term plans aligned with organizational goals and priorities

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Health Administration or Business Administration or recognized equivalent
  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Architecture preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of the Health Care sector
  • Minimum 10 years related experience in Healthcare, including 10 years of progressive senior leadership experience
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment and adapt to changing priorities
