Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team at the IBM Client Innovation Centre Quebec. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving major projects that propel our clients' businesses forward and improve people's lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the development of customer projects, including new applications, development of new functionalities on existing applications, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with our team to build scalable applications using Kotlin.
  • Design and develop user-friendly and visually appealing user interfaces.
  • Work with REST and JSON APIs to integrate with our systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or software engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Android development.
  • Knowledge of white-label applications.
  • Git and source code management experience (GitHub, GitLab, etc.).
  • Good understanding of software architecture (MVVM).
  • Reactive programming experience (RxJava, Coroutines).
  • User interface frameworks experience (XML and Jetpack Compose UI).
  • Bilingualism in French and English.
