About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Android Mobile Engineer to join our team at Openfleet, a company dedicated to revolutionizing the way we think about transportation. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing mobile frameworks and applications that enable our customers to share vehicles and reduce individual car ownership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications for Android devices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and functionalities
  • Ensure seamless integration with our backend systems and APIs
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our development processes
  • Work closely with our QA team to identify and resolve issues
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mobile development, with a strong focus on Android
  • Excellent knowledge of Clean Architecture and Clean Code principles
  • Experience with design patterns and their application in mobile development
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs and their implementation
  • Proficiency in Git and Git Flow
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and deployment on Google Play Store
Preferred Skills
  • RxJava and its application in Android development
  • Firebase and its integration with Android apps
  • Retrofit and its use in Android development
  • Bluetooth communication and its implementation in Android apps
  • Passion for software craftsmanship and a desire to continuously learn and improve
