About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Android Mobile Software Engineer to join our team at Openfleet. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our mobile applications to provide innovative solutions for shared mobility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and evolve our mobile frameworks and applications to meet the needs of our customers in the fast-changing field of shared mobility.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary Agile development team to deliver high-quality products and services.
  • Design and implement clean, efficient, and scalable mobile applications using Clean Architecture and Clean Code principles.
  • Work with our team to identify and prioritize features, and develop solutions that meet our customers' needs.
  • Ensure the highest level of quality and reliability in our mobile applications, and troubleshoot issues in a timely and effective manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mobile development, with a strong focus on Android platforms.
  • Excellent knowledge of Clean Architecture and Clean Code principles, as well as Design Patterns.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, CI/CD processes, and deployment on Apple and Google Play Store.
  • Strong understanding of GIT and GIT Flow, and experience with Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with RxJava, Firebase, and Retrofit.
  • Familiarity with Bluetooth communication.
  • Passionate about software craftsmanship and continuous learning.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
