Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Little Burgundy. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, managing sales teams, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training of sales teams
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Provide coaching and feedback to sales teams to improve performance
  • Manage store inventory, visual merchandising, and store appearance
  • Communicate with District Sales Manager, Distribution, and Buying and Merchandising departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Recognize and develop talented staff for growth within the company
  • Supervise and manage all aspects of daily store operations in the absence of the Store Manager

Requirements

  • Prior retail management experience preferred
  • 6-12 months retail sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Desire to succeed in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, including night and weekend shifts
  • Ability to climb, reach, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
