Store Operations Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Little Burgundy. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, managing sales teams, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training of sales teams
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed sales goals
- Provide coaching and feedback to sales teams to improve performance
- Manage store inventory, visual merchandising, and store appearance
- Communicate with District Sales Manager, Distribution, and Buying and Merchandising departments to ensure smooth operations
- Recognize and develop talented staff for growth within the company
- Supervise and manage all aspects of daily store operations in the absence of the Store Manager
Requirements
- Prior retail management experience preferred
- 6-12 months retail sales experience
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Desire to succeed in a fast-paced retail environment
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, including night and weekend shifts
- Ability to climb, reach, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
