About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Director, Commercial & Corporate FX Sales to join our team in Montreal. As a key member of our Global Banking and Markets division, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Commercial & Corporate clients, identifying risk management opportunities, and providing innovative solutions to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a portfolio of Commercial & Corporate clients, focusing on risk management opportunities and providing exceptional client service.
  • Collaborate with internal partners, including Interest Rate Risk Solutions, FX sales, and Corporate Fixed Income Origination, to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their business models and identifying opportunities to deepen existing relationships and cultivate new ones.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance with applicable acts, policies, and regulations.
  • Cross-sell the Bank's wholesale banking services to clients, leveraging your expertise to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field, with an MBA and/or CFA designation (or working towards) being an asset.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in derivatives and capital markets, with a proven track record of client relationship management and sales experience in the Financial Services industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset, able to work effectively with internal groups to achieve cross-sell objectives and franchise growth.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis, with experience with FX & interest rate related systems being an asset.
