Account Director, Government and Public Sector Banking

As an Account Director in Government and Public Sector Banking, you will be responsible for growing the portfolio of government business clients assigned to you. Your role will involve identifying and developing business opportunities in your market, growing your commercial clientele, and establishing business development strategies.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement business development strategies to grow your commercial clientele.
- Identify and pursue business opportunities in your market, ensuring alignment with the Bank's goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with internal partners to achieve financial results and meet client needs.
- Negotiate and review pricing agreements, and respond to public tenders.
- Ensure a high level of customer service and achieve revenue and acquisition objectives.
This role is based in Montreal, and you will be responsible for a portfolio covering the Quebec government apparatus. You will work closely with colleagues to propose the best solutions to meet our clients' needs. Our training programs are based on on-the-job learning to help you master your role.
Requirements:- A minimum of five to nine years of experience in business development and sales in the financial sector.
- University certificate or University Banking Program (PUB) and nine years of experience.
- Bachelor's degree and seven years of experience.
- Master's degree and five years of experience.
- Experience in sales and business development.
- Experience in deposit management and treasury products.
- Experience in commercial credit.
English and French are required, as you will need to work closely with colleagues outside Quebec.
