Job Summary

The Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board is seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for processing bi-weekly payrolls using HRIS and SFE Software, coordinating and verifying payroll documents, reconciling remittances, producing ROEs, processing timesheets, and handling payroll inquiries and administration of pension and benefits.

Responsibilities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require a High School Graduation Diploma, Business & Commerce, and completion of, or study towards the Canadian Payroll Association Certificate program. One year of previous payroll experience is required, with current payroll experience being preferred. You must also possess computer skills with the ability to perform complex salary calculations using Microsoft Excel and effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
