Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Capital Project Cost Controller to join our team. This individual will be responsible for providing cost control services for the execution of a set of capital projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly capital accruals and assist in the preparation of monthly cost S-Curve files and capital metric consolidation.
  • Complete cost reporting within Project Execution monthly reports, including variance explanations.
  • Create work orders and track costs, as well as complete project forecasts.
  • Prepare Capital Budget Change Orders, Contract Change Orders, and Cost Flows.
  • Analyze and code invoices, complete progress billings, and record, track, forecast, and report on work under the In-Service Failure programs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of project close-out documents for Finance, including Interest Cut-off and Asset Assignment Forms.
Requirements
  • Relevant proven cost control experience in a capital project environment is essential.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a similar field is required.
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of accounting processes and software are necessary.
  • Experience in the electric utility industry is considered an asset.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
