About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing and Recruitment: Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures, identify current and prospective staffing requirements, and provide information or services to employees.
  • Employee Relations and Engagement: Provide information or services, such as employee assistance and counselling, and advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
  • Talent Acquisition: Prepare and post notices and advertisements, collect and screen applicants, and advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
  • HR Administration: Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties, and determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to multitask, and adaptability.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in Workday, MS Windows, Oracle, data analysis software, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
