Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at DPG FOOD SERVICES INC O/A SUBWAY. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with fast-paced conditions.
  • Supervision: 1 to 2 people.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
