Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at DPG FOOD SERVICES INC O/A SUBWAY. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and direct a team of food service staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and employee performance.
  • Work Schedules: Develop and implement work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and minimize overtime.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with fast-paced and dynamic conditions.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 25 pounds.
