The Role
We are seeking a skilled Building Operator to join our team As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day execution of maintenance programs to guarantee uninterrupted tenant operations. This includes receiving and resolving incoming work orders, responding to tenant escalations, and completing assigned preventative maintenance activities.

Responsibilities
- Receive and resolve incoming work orders in a timely manner
- Respond with urgency to assigned tenant escalations
- Complete assigned preventative maintenance activities
- Obtain multiple quotes for operational repairs as needed
- Attend site to assist vendor access as required
- Complete meter reading tasks on a monthly basis as required
- Advise on any discovered equipment issues promptly and follow through to resolution
- Ensure all procurement activities follow FCR policy
- Complete compliance inspections as assigned

Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Building Operations
- Building Operations certifications (BOMI BES Class II) is an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly (written and verbally)
- Service-oriented attitude; cares about providing exceptional customer service
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Working knowledge of Building Systems (Fire Alarm, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Elevators, Security, Access Control, Building Automation)
- Knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety regulations and procedures
- Strong computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office, iPhone operation, and experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
