Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Workflow: Assist with scheduling and workflow to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
  • Third-Party Billing: Bill third-party insurers for patient services.
  • Claims Processing: Process claims such as health insurance or workers' compensation.
  • Supply Management: Maintain supplies and ensure they are readily available for use.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Support for Healthcare Professionals: Assist healthcare professionals with tasks and duties as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of an other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Setting: Pharmacy or drugstore environment.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, including housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing.
  • Recruitment: Recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster.
  • Credential Recognition: Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.

Language: English

Hours of Work: 30 to 40 hours per week
